Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
Hydori ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Ertiqah. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Hydori WordPress translation plugin and our website (hydori.io).
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. If you sign up through Google OAuth, we receive your Google profile information.
WordPress Site Data
When you connect your WordPress site via the Hydori plugin, we access the posts and metadata required to translate and publish the variants you select. We read only the posts you ask Hydori to process and never modify posts outside of that scope.
Content Data
Post content you send to Hydori for translation is stored on our servers while the translation job runs, along with any glossary or brand-term configuration you set for your site.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Hydori platform
- Translate WordPress posts you send to Hydori into the languages you select
- Publish translated posts back to your connected WordPress site as directed by you
- Send notifications about translation jobs, credit balances, and account activity
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Respond to support requests and communicate product updates
4. AI Processing
Hydori uses AI models to translate content and provide recommendations. We process AI requests through our own API keys and do not share your content with third parties outside of the model providers we use to fulfil your translation requests.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and infrastructure hosting.
- WordPress Integration: When you publish translations through Hydori, the translated post content is sent to your connected WordPress site via the Hydori plugin as directed by you.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data and content within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
